Railway Meols FC
Manager: Stewart Boyd
Railways Meols have been a long serving team, but they have had quite a few team name changes. Previously known as Harvey Bears, then decided to change the name to Lets Be Frank, these guys have always been one of the main competitors in our Division 1 League. They had a slight lapse back in 2015 and found themselves relegated to division 2. But within a season found themselves back up into Division 1 with the big hitters after being crowned Division 2 champions. When on form these guys can be dangerous when it comes to getting goals in the back of the net!
Manager Stu Boyd Recruited during 16/17 season, which saw a few new faces join his side. 2017 season seen this side’s best season to date with them being crowned Division 1 champions! The side bagged themselves all 3 individual trophies as well as the title with Danny Edwards getting Top Goal Scorer and Most Man of Matches, and keeper Chris Smith bagging the Golden Glove trophies, one of the nicest teams in our league who are always up for a laugh when the step through the door, SHOCKWAVESSSS. This season sees Railway finishing what they started last season by remaining in that top spot, can they bag themselves a second title in a row or will Avenue Vets catch them up?
Chris Smith (GK)
